downloaded some files with the extension .rar. does it go in the Data directory? thanks for your help.

I think you need to use Winrar to unrar it first. then put it in your data folder.

yeah i had the same problem with battle feild just download winrar at errrmmm heck anywhere i think try file planet or downloads.com

Once you've downloaded it, trash winzip. Winrar handles zip files (extract / creat) and ace files as well, all in one program.

Hey thanks everyone. I went to CNET and downloaded WINRAR. BTW I don't have WinZip instead I have CAMZip which is ALOT easier for me to use for Zips AND its FREE. :D

PS - Dang! there sure is ALOT of plug-ins to download. I'm just going have to learn how to make my own stuff. I think there's alot of stuff there that may be incompatible due to many updates and oops.
