Bethesda released Pirates Of The Caribbean. It's a great game. I'll be very happy if we can share our thoughts in a forum. Please ironworks!!

I recall a thread not too long ago, where someone warned us NOT to buy that game. That it was a major dissapointment. But i guess i'll have to see that for myself.

But why did you post this in the Morrowind section ? Besides, Z just came up with a brand new forum, so i think you won't have much luck with your request.

Yes I posted it in general Forum the day it was released. If you read the twenty some reviews at game spy they all say almost the same thing. The game Has fantastic graphics but the character control totaly sucks once you get into combat with more than two NPC at a time you are dead in 10 seconds. The sounds for cannon fire are crap no matter how many cannon fire at the some time it sounds the same. The Backgroung noise of town sound the same when you are standing on a beach hundreds of miles from noware. The Instructions to the PC game are vague and imcomplete and the higest rateing that was given to it over all from 1 to 10 is 4.1 out of 10 and that was the best score. Game spy gave it the worst game of the year award. It came with a so called free ticket to see the movie for $10.50 but what you get is a game not worth $10.50 for $50.00 + a movie ticket that only cost $7.95 in my town. The X-box version is a little better it got an over all rating or 4.9 and worst X-BOX game of the year award. This is not an RPG as so claimed, it is a first person shooter with only a single shot pistol and a rusted sword. Your character only has one defensive move no matter what you do and it only works 20% OF THE TIME This game needs more patches than Pool of Radiance did when it first came out and an intire rewrite wouldn't hurt along with a bondfire to just melt the damn thing back into the pile of monkey dung that it is.
I love Morrowind. Had they used the same engine that was used by Morrowind they might of had a good game or, if they had kept the original Sea Dogs game engine and made a few improvements to it they would have had A great game. Instead they used A Game engine that was developed by three Russans so, nothing translated corectly into english and they ended up with crap and a 10 million dollar loss for bethesda soft works. Over 600 games were returned in the first 24 hours a new record and that was only at EB game stores.
