I don't seem to be able to do it. I've even made up a 100 pt chameleon spell which lasts for seven seconds. That coupled with my 52 point sneak skill doesn't do the trick. Everyttime I try and lift it either off Nerano or his servant they discover it...??

CAn I just kill Nerano? IS it going to effect any later quests if I do so? I'm playing the mage, blade and thief quests right now. I might branch out into the Hlaalu House quest as well.

I wouldn't mind klilling him and taking over his house. Lots of shelves to stock goodies.

Killing the servant in the Council Club on the other hand ...... is a very tough fight, but also comletes a special quest for the leader of Ft Moonmouth, Varius.

Now, if you do kill the servant, before giving the key to Habassi, be a true thief and loot the manor yourself ...... just lock the door on your way out :D </font>

You can also try to bribe/admire/intimidate the servant up to a disposition around 85 and he'll give you the key.

If you taunt him, he will attack you ALONE. Quite an easy fight
with my nightblade (shortblade around 45).
Then you could get the key.
