You get your Enchant stats up to 100, capture a Golden Saint soul in that grand gem and...what are you going to enchant???

Here's my *most favorite* item that I have created to date:

Ring of Flying
Levitate 1-15pts
CONSTANT EFFECT
There is no better way to explore the Ashlands (or the ocean) than to fly high above it!... ;) Also quite funny if you fly above your opponent and rain arrows on him - Watch 'em run yelling 'Spare me!!'

Other favorite items (so far)

Aqua Shirt
Water Breathing
Swift Swim 1-5pts
CONSTANT EFFECT
Swimming has become much more fun!

Glass (Tower) Shield of Night Vision
1-90pts Night Vision for 50ft
CONSTANT EFFECT
Because I hate wandering around dark dungeons with a torch and not a shield in my hand...(Also works great when underwater)

And my favourite enchanted weapon creation to date:

(ebony Long Sword of Pain
Damage Health 8-55pts
CAST WHEN STRIKES
(Giving a combined possible damage rating of 9-89 pts - better than a Daedric weapon!)

Question for others - I have a Daedric Longbow and I am stuck for ideas as to what enchantment to give it. Anyone have a good idea?

could make it give you bound gauntlets. just so's when you use it your bow and gloves match :D

that night vision constant is a hard one to get......requires an item with a high enchantment value

Well, as I said, I have *already* created it using the glass tower shield. But any extravagant (or exquisite) ring would have done the job too - and there are plenty of those around (I have around 10 of them still unused).

So far I have made a Water walk shirt. Its an extravagant shirt with a constant water walk enchantment in it. Why swim when you can just walk and get there faster. I have made various stat enhanceing items. If you vary the level from 0 to some number you can get sickeningly high numbers. Just keep re-equiping till you get the number you want. I have a daedric tower shield that gives from 0 to 70 strenght. If I have to re-equip it , I just keep doing it untill I get an addition in the high 60's. My favorite weapon in my daedric dikatana with an added poison spell. It does 40 to 75 poison damage on top of that a dikatana already does. Max damage when you add in strenght bonuses is usualy over 100.

i made a cloak that added an extra 30 points to strength once....cool thing was i did it myself with an enchant of only 52ish. i did kinda use alchemy to get my luck up above 10000 first though

HammerHead 07-10-2003 05:13 PM

I usually have 2 rings, an amulet and a towershield (daedric when I find one) enchanted with strength enhancement. It gives a total strength between 250-300 depending on how long time I bother with reequipping.

That allows me to stay longer on the "battlefield". Nothing more annoying than to have to return to town every time you pick up a pair of heavy boots.

cool topic...

for the most part i agree w/ hammerhead, w/ the fortify strength enchantments, also i'm fond of a fortify luck item, since that's usually my lowest stat.

some other handy ones -

ring of restoration - (extravagant ring) (cast on use)
5-10 pts restore attribute X 8 (every stat can be restored w/ this one item, much handier than dealing w/ spells or potions)

adventurers ring - exquisite ring (constant effect)
1-4 pts restore health
1 pt restore fatigue
20 pts night eye

glass greaves of long running - (constant effect)
2 pts restore fatigue

nightvision helm - (used a helm from a tribunal assassin) constant effect
19 pts night vision (stacks w/ the ring and is pretty much all you need)

Cool. Dark brotherhood helms make it look like you are equipping night vision goggles, so i guess you chose the most suiting enchantment :D
