In my exploration along the coast well south of Balmora I came across Samarys Ancestral Tomb. In an urn marked "Lord Brinne" I found LB's key that obviously went to a chest sitting off to the right. The problem was that I could not seem to equip this key. I unequipped my sword, clicked on the key and dragged it over to my character's paper doll but it would not equip no matter what I tried. I had no problem equipping lockpicks, et.al. Anybody run into this problem? Are keys equipped differently? Thanks

Keys, unlike lock-picks and the like, are not equipable items. You simply activate the object to which the key corresponds, and the key does the rest.
