I recently got a new comp, and today i installed Morrowind, cause that game will probably never bore me, even though i've finished it 2 times already, and was close to finishing it for the third time, when the new PC arrived.

I didn't copy my savegame, i decided to start all over again. What a weird experience to be a low level character again... :D Somehow i came out as a redguard archer when i created a new char, never been that before.

I downloaded all my favourite mods and plugins again, and finally found the "Giants plugin", that will make the game more challenging. I'm still looking for a few mods to make this game even more exciting, and i could use some input from you guys. What are the most useful mods that really add something to this game ? Fill me in please.

new game? okay. but you didn't stat which mod you have.

Rhedd's Head mod, Teleportation ring mod and Breton Girlfriend mod is all that I really like. others are just not up to my mark.

Lilarcor mod is good, the sword can really talk.

Children of the night mod is good too though it's more of a conversion.

if you list your mods maybe I can see what's missing.

I have the Balmora residence, Vivec residence, Giants mod, area effect arrows, creeper trader, and the runed dual wield katana's mod, that's it.

Which un-official mods would you suggest? I'm looking for top notch as close to professional work as you can get. Preferably something that will NOT slow down my game at all. Not even noticeably. Thanks.

P.S. I will ignore anyone who suggests the Giants mod. I've heard it slows things down, and that many of the new critters are definitively amateurish at best.

It doesn't slow things down for me at all. And i haven't found out what new creatures this will add to the game, since i'm not that far yet. I'm at level 13 now and so far i only encountered packs of Nix hounds, and rats that attack you in groups. I guess the bigger creatures show up when i'm a little more leveled up.

Thanks for the file Johnny. When he said detailed instructions he wasn't kidding. I'm gonna have to print them out to use them. Oh well. Anyways thanks.

Ahh!! just realized this was meant for a different topic. . . . Last time I tried to delete my own post it told me only moderators could do that so I guess it's stuck here.

Anyways I'll just post what I intended to post here.

I hate to admit it, but I was wrong about the Book title. Saryoni's Sermons is a completely seperate book from the Vivec series, which is ACTUALLY called 36 Lessons of Vivec. SO uh yeah, thats all.

For those of you that don't use the "giants mod", you don't know what you're missing. Finally i'm running in to tough opponents again. I still haven't met ALL new creatures, but the ancient liches and ancient giants are a real tough nut to crack, even for leveled up characters.

One weird thing though... these ancient giants carry battleaxes that weigh 1000, that's way too much for any character to take with him after defeating such a giant. And that really sucks, cause those axes are worth a whopping 125.000.

125k for a 1000 pound weapon is actually extremely cheap. there are 20lb weapons worth more, rarer though they may be.
