I read somewhere that you can be infected with vampirism whilst attacking a vampire. I also read that you can cure this within 3 days with a cure common disease spell/potion. Is this true? And if so, does that mean that since I'm immune to all disease since the unfortunate incident with Dagoth Thingo, I can't be infected with vampirism at all?
Thanks |
once you are infected by a vampire disease, you'll have 3 days to cure it off or else.
However, if you choose to become a vampire, do so before getting the corpus disease main quest ( I assume you have reach that far in your game ). If you become a vampire and got bored with it and make yourself a human again. you'll never ever get to become a vampire again. though, you will still get the disease occasionally( which is a bug ). Yeah, this kinda sucks. For a long time i didn't know that my character became immune for vampires after being cured of corprus. There seem to be some fun quests in vampire related matters. Next time i play the game, this is one of my priorities. If you haven't been a vampire, you never truly lived. :D

True, true. I am a great fan of vampires in Morrowind... it's truly an experience.

Damn - I slipped back into some gaming last weekend and cured my guy of Corpus - no vampires for you Davros. Oh well, on to getting named Nevarine and Hortator

Just to be precise: it doesn't matter whether you get cured or not - it's coprus itself which gives you immunity. The cure is only about some unpleasant side effects.

Is being a vampire all that fun..I mean you get hurt in the daylight

yes it's fun. if you are a long blade wielder you should try to become one. ;)
