Hey guy's

I plan on making a marksman thief type/mage

I plan on having Marksman/Light Armor/Shord Blade

I also plan on having Alteration/Illusion/Conjuration

My question is this

Is Alteration, illusion, suitable counter-parts for sneak, security, etc?

Is this workable in the land of Morrowind?

Any tips on how to set this guy up? what is really needed? Will I have enough magic with stealth as my speciality?

And last is enchant worth it as a major or is minor fine?

Thank you

dont put enchant in ur major or minor skills: really hard to advance on ur own without a trainer

I think alteration and illusion are both well suited for a sneaky character but I agree with rageheart about not making conjuration a major or minor.

even with a teacher enchant skill is still very hard to train.

you'll probably need sneak and security

get some race and a sign that got bonus to magicka.

Kakero is enchant worth it? I trust you're opinion.

I find that Enchant is of no real use but I always take it if I am playing a mage as it is the right thing to take for a mage if you are roleplaying. If I am power gaming I never take it. You can find a master trainer for it but he is something of a pain to get to. Befor you go see him make sure to have a calm spell so you can keep him from tring to kill you.

enchant skill is kinda useless, why?

1. even though you have a high enchant skill. you will still fail when you try to enchant item. you will notice you are paying enchanter to enchant item for you. However, in the long run, you'll probably dump your enchanted item for some of the artifacts or relics that you found throughout your adventure.

2. okay, enchant skill can let you recharge your item. let's face it. you are a mage. will you keep on using your item eg. your sword over and over?

3. enchant skill is hard to train but it is not impossible to train. just use the above poster method to train your enchant skill.
