Erm...how do you bring up the console?

Try and open your options menu. I cant say for certain which button you use, different keyboards and such.

press ~ button on your keyboard. it's above TAB button.

Ahh, yes, exactly the point of my post. I use a button positioned at the same place, but it isnt the same button. My ~ button is placed besides enter.

That's because the layout of those keys varies greatly from keyboard to keyboard... and also some national settings map the ~ on diffrent keys - on italian keyboards the ~ simply isn't there.ò To go console you press either \ or à, depending on the game.
