Have you ever had the problem of encumbrance? It must happen to heavy armored characters mostly. Your armor is heavy and you cannot carry much. It's a big penalty IMO. And I noticed that many light armors are good as heavy ones. Chitin for ex, much better than iron. And light armors are more common. The AC difference is not so much. Do you agree? Do you vote for heavy or light?

I can carry as up to 600 in weight, and i'm fully equipped with Daedric armour, so there. :D My strength is at 120, that helps a lot i guess.

I disagree. The best light armor I`ve seen only gives around 10 ac, but the better heavy armor pieces give way over 100. The Lord's Mail for example gives ~150 AC. Also, I always have around 200 lbs open to carry stuff with, and my endurance is only 83.

heavy, heavy and heavy armor forever!! the more heavier it is,the better!!

I don't just take any item I saw in my adventures, i just take noteworthy ones only. that's why I don't have encuberance problem.

That too. When I first started playing I`d take every grain of salt rice and every cup in sight. I think alot of other people do that too and they have problems because of it. Now I don`t take anything worth less than 500 coins, and less than 2000 if it is a piece of armor or just too weighty.

Hmm...you must never have gotten glass armor, which has a higher AC than almost any other armor in the game.

so if you wear all glass armor, how high is your AR ?

Is there any light armor over 100?

I'll have to look at home tonight, but 150-180, depending. There's also a cool set of Gold Armor in the Redoran treasury (if your PC is a lady & you're running the LaFemme official mod), which has a slightly higher AC than the glass. Unfortunately, there's only a helmet, cuirass and pauldrons. I checked TESCS because I was so in love with this armor.

Is there any light armor over 100?</font>
Yep. The Glass Armor. And there's a readily "available" partial set in a chest in the Ald-ruhn Fighter's Guild.
