It does not happen in indoors but it happens in outdoor. When walking through the hills I see little white points on the screen. I had the same situation in Max Payne too. My graphic card is NVIDIA geforce 2 mx/mx 400 the problem is with the driver??

Have you downloaded updated drivers?

Drivers? No clue.......ask johnny or kakero they seem to know the computers better than I

Which detonater driver do you have installed? The 40.72 was a very bad one. I had problems with this one in several games. At the moment I am running the 41.09, and it seems to work fine with Morrowind. Another good one is the 30.xx.

you wont believe this!
my driver date 14.9.2001
my driver version 2.1.83

I'LL UPDATE IT IMMEDIATELY!!

one more question, how can I remove my current driver? is it a bad thing to install over it?

Chris77Se 02-07-2003 02:29 PM

Just installing just over the old driver is a bad idea, as some people reported. It is best to remove the old driver in the software section of your windows. After removal Windows should start in 16 colour mode (WinXP will try to install its own driver after that).

I installed the 41.09 over the WinXP driver and everything just works fine now (ok, sometimes I have a CTD, but it happens not too often).

And don´t take Detonator 40.72 !!

good idea I'll load version 30 or 40 something. But I cannot download these versions from nvidia official site. only the latest versions are avaiable. do you know any sites where I can find nvidia geforce2 mx/mx400 driver?

I also thought WinXp had a feature where it will save your last working driver config for a device and incase you mess it up it will revert back to this setting.

well looks like the problem is solved!!!!!!!!!!
