Okay, Edwinna has send me to Vivec to "borrow" a book from a mage there. First i checked her room, cause she was standing outside the room and i went in and closed the door behind me so i could take a peek without being disturbed. I couldn't find any books. So i aked her about the book and she told me she never even heard of it, but i think he was lying. Can anyone tell me where i can find that book ?

maybe youll find it in Jabasha's? If you can't, just bribe the mage or kill the mage. Usually the latter works.

Check the chest in that closet you were in. And DON'T kill her if you want continued good standing in the Guild .....

I both checked the chest and the woman (pickpocketing) and i found no book. A bug perhaps ?

<font color = aqua> It may be a bug. It definately was in the chest when I did the quest. Maybe recheck the closet just in case you've missed something. If I remember correctly it was dark and easy to miss. It was a locked chest though</font>

its in the little side room behind the woman, close the door and picklock at leisure take it out, go to i think edwinna then take it back when she realises she didnt want it anyway, so long as you close the door you dont even have to be too sneaky, if its not in that chest then its a bug and you'd have to load the object, cos it was definately there when i did it

How do i load it then, cause i'm really stuck now.

erm no clue [img]smile.gif[/img] only ever had to load one thing and i had to ask for that, silly bugs :(

Go to the TES construction set and find the book you want, find out its 'ID' not its Name, then bring up the console menu (~ key) and then type - playeradd> "The books ID" (I think) and it should be in your inventory

Sorry for all the fuzz folks, i had it all the time in my Balmora residence in a chest. I guess i went on a stealing spree too early in the game. :D
