OK, I give up, how do I get a telvanni bride for the ashlander?

You'll have to buy a slave, you can find her on an island north of the ashlander camp.

Go to Tel Branora? I think that's it, and ask for something special, and the slave lady will give you the slave. She costs 1000 septims, and you have to buy her some exquisite clothes and Telvanni Bug Musk, so that's an extra 1,800 or so. Then you have to lead her back to the Zainab camp, that takes a little while also. But i think that's about it.

You hit the nail right on the head. And it would be wise to bring those clothes up front, it prevents some annoying travelling. :D

Excellent! Thanks much...how the heck do you figure something like that out? All the Telvanni just laugh at me when asking about a bride. Even when my likability stat is 100%.
