Ok, now I'm really p1ssed off. To gain Garisa Leithri support I have to the Caldera Mines, find some Evidence of corruption and help shut down the mines. So off I went to the Caldera mines, spoke with Dahleena set her free, found the ledger and off I went like a merry little leprechaun, spoke to that idiot counciler and he never aknowledged the fact that I completed the quest. Went on-line desperately looking for a way round the fact that this is a stupid bug. I found a few ridiculous solutions like recreating Dahleena in her original bound up state, talk to her, then get the ledger, then speak to that inbred counciler, return to Dahleena and free her again, then it should be completed. People, this does not work. When I tried to free Dahleena, she said I needed the key, which was in my inventory anyway. Another one which was suggested was to kill the boss in the governers hall, and the owner which was also there. So off I went again perked up by the fact that I will kill something soon. Done the job, returned and that pompous idiot councilor in the dress and he still does not recognise the fact that I've completed the quest. So I killed him. Just for the heck of it. (I saved it just before though). Now you may notice the fact that I'm at the end of my tether and I'm on my knees, begging and cursing profusely in the vain attempt that there might be a solution to my plight. Well do YOU have the power to save me? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE?

Do you have a lot of plug ins in your game ?

No plugins. The only thing I loaded was the patch. Is there some way to "Cheat" the quest closed? I'm really at the end of my tether here. I just want it finished.

Well, I had the same problem with final Hlaallu rank, so ... um ... well ... I cheated since I had no other choice.

Start up Construction set & find the NPC that should give you the quest ending. Look through dialogue tab and find the option that gives you the correct journal entry (look at the bottom of the window to see smt. like raiserank command - this will advance your character in the guild/house)
Now you can add the correct journal entry in the game via game console and that should advance your rank and finish the quest.

THank you Neuromancer, you are a life saver. Think of all those innocent people you have saved in Ald'run!! I'll try what you said, and thanks again. Can you give me the correct Console commands to raise your rank. I thimk it goes like setPCrank but I think I'm missing something else.
