I just got to Ald'ruhn and everytime I try to barter, the person says "You've got the mark of Zenithar, and they won't do business with me." What is Zenithar and how do I remove the mark? I've been good...just doing jobs for the Fighters Guild...*sniff* HELP!

Hmm, that doesn't ring a bell, but there is a guy in Ald'ruhn that owes a lot of merchants money. If you find the guy and get all the goods back, or pay his debts for him, the merchants will love you. His name might be Zenithar, but I don't think so, and I don't know what his "mark" would be. You didn't steal his stuff did you [img]smile.gif[/img]

Is it only the merchants that give you problems? Can you buy spells, get armor repaired etc?

I'm not sure, but I think I know what your problem is. During the Early stages of the game I was travelling up to Gnisis to join the Legion when I met an Argonian who wanted me to Deliver some expensive shirts to the clothier under Skar in Aldrun. Before he gave them to me he made me swear to Zenithar that I would deliver them. He told me that making an oath to Zenithar was serious business. Try going to the clothier under Skar and see if he asks you for his shirts

Thanks you guys! I delivered the shirts that Rasha made me swear to give to Bivale Teneran, in Ald'ruhn, and now I everything is normal again.. *whew* It had me worried for a minute, thought maybe I shouldn't have tampered in some ruins that I found earlier..heehee

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, for you bear the mark of Zenithar, and... oh, you figured it out, damn.
I had the same thing happen, and I was stumped, trying to remember what I did to who, and why it would mess me up... I love this game.
