when I first started the game, I did not really know what I was doing. And now later on in the game I realize that I had killed a few people that I now need to be able to complete the blades quests. I just need to know if there is a way around this for the xbox? If so...let me know

Who did you kill? Depends wether you want to start over or not... there are ways of completing the main quest after the story is "Broken", but it is much more difficult. Key people that break the main quest give a warning when they die .... something like "The world is much darker now ...." If you didn't get this message or something similar, then you are in good shape for the main quest. You might not be able to do some side quests, but well YOU went on the murderous rampage [img]graemlins/rambo.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/2gunfire.gif[/img] heheheh .... Anyway, it help to know who you butchered.

Well, it was for the blades quests. Early in the game people that were wearing good items died because I was not thinking about future events. Anyway, I'm at the part where you need to bribe the Councilors of the great houses to make you the horator and get the tribes to name you Nerevine. I whacked 3 of the Councilors you need, Therena (Tel Branora, Telvanni), Orvas Dren (Dren Plantation, Hlallu), and Bolvyn Venim (Venim Manor, Redoran). Bolvyn actually attacked me for some reason, I can't remember now, Orvas Dren was guarding a pair of Daidric Greaves and Ebony Cuirass, and Therana attacked me when I took the staff of other guy in the tower. But never did and "Doom Message" appear when I killed these people. Hope you can figure it out with this info.

There is no way I am re-starting considering how long I played the game to get this far, I'm the head of 6 or 7 organizations and have almost every rare and powerful item in the game. So that is out of the question!!!

As far as I know, you can kill any of the Telvanni but Aryon, killing Orvas Dren is one of the ways to finish the Hlaalu quest, and Venim.... you fight him as part of the quest but I don't know what happens if i kill him earlier. So you might still be able to do it if you can finish the Redoran one.

Therana's death can earn you a nice profit in a later quest. Hopefully you realize that Dren is "conected" - a real "made" guy, his death is no loss and sets up a Thieves Guild quest. And you do have to kill Venim to become the Redoran Hortator - he's a baaad guy anyway. Not sure how killing him early affects things. You should be OK though. And for the Telvani, you can whack all of the counsilors, even Aryon, and name yourself supreme.

Well, the Telvanni and Hlaalu councilors worked fine, but I am having trouble with Bolvyn Venim or House Redoran. When I killed him I was doing a the Bal Gora Glove (or whatever they are called) quests and I had to retrieve a Hlervu Locket for someone and I found one in the Venim Manor in Ald-Ruhn. I talked to Bolvyn and used the topic Hlervu Locket and then he called me a thied and started attacking me, so I killed him. Now whenever I try talking to any of the other Redoran councilors, they all call me a murderor and won't talk to me. Even Arvyn, the guy you need to name you hortator, will not talk to me. So I'm not sure what to do.
