what does it mean and what does it do when you bind something to yourself ? how does it affect you and/or the item bound ?
cheers peeps |
It summons a Daedric 'Copy' of the Item. For example, a bound longsword spell would summon a daedric longsword for a short duration. There was a loophole in the game which allowed you to keep the bound item permanently but you can't doit anymore with the official patch installed.

so this deadric weapon/item must be pretty powerfull then ? is there any way to do a constant bind ? if so please let me know ,

If you don't have the patch installed, then the loophole goes like this: Cast Bound Longsword, unequip the sword to your inventory, and then drop it on the floor. Then go rest for an hour, the item should still be there and its now permanent (normally it should have been unsummoned after a certain period in the game but its a bug). The Sword does hefty damage, weighs nothing, costs $1 repair no matter how bad the damage and adds 10 points to your Long Blade skill. This can also work with other bound item spells. Like Bound Boots for example.

great advice m8, the only problem is i have the x box version, so no doubt the bug you refear to has been sorted out :(

you can always create a magic item with constant effect bound whatever. one of my favorite items i created was a pair of extravagant gloves, left had a constant effect bound longbow, the right constant effect bound dagger, plus each also had 1 point stamina regeneration.
