I've been goofing around with the game, and I was wondering how I would write the command to get the gonodolier's hat, the one the boatmen in Vivec use. As currently the only way I can get it as by killing one of them, and that's not quite that enjoyable.

type this :
player1->additem "x" 1 "x" is the command name for the hat, check it up in your TES construction kit. |
This did not work for me, I get "player1" can't be found and the object can't be found either or it needs a number and so forth.
This is from the "console" right? I know I'm obviously doing something wrong, perhaps you could write an example? |
replace the "x" with the command line of the hat. check it out on your tes contruction kit!
|
Maby you can tell him how you write it?
Shall you use the (->) in there to when you write or not like this player1 additem "x" 1 and not like this: player1->additem "x" 1 ? I dont knove my self because i have never used this feature before! :D |
Even simpler, open up the console, click on your character(No need to type that player1 stuff then), type: additem "itemID" X
Where the ItemID is the ID of the item that you want to summon, to find out the ID of an item, open up the editor and load up the main Morrowind file. Then you should be able to swiftly locate the ID of the item if you know it's name. Edit: The X is the amount of the item that you want. [ 07-14-2002, 06:14 AM: Message edited by: Neb ] |
