Normally, I'd use search for this since I'm sure it's been asked. How does Detect Key work? Detect creature shows a red mark on the map. I tried dropping a key and then casting the spell. Nada. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

You should see a white circle where a key is, but maybe it only works on keys you haven't found yet.

emm..detect key and detect enchanment doesn't seem to work on your own items.
