Apologies if this topic has already been addressed; I checked back over the past 2 months' posts and couldn't find mention of it...

The Adamantium Helm plug in's description suggests, "travel north to Dagon Fell and listen to the latest rumors...".

I've asked everyone up in that area (everyone that didn't come at me swinging a sword and yelling, "DIE, FETCHER!"), but the subject never shows up in the dialog box.
Even loosening up peoples' tongues with gold doesn't work.

I know it's not an issue of an incorrectly installed plug-in, because I have others installed and they all function properly.

I don't need to know precisely where the Helm is, but if someone could point me in the right direction, I'll put in a good word for them with the Ordinators....

I think you need to ask about "rumors" in Dagon Fel and a new topic will be added to the conversation window. Some NPC will give you a more detailed direction to the deadric shrine.

BTW, the helm is a medium armor. It has a good armor class and great enchantment capacity.

No, no, no, I tried that, believe me.
I always ask the 3 L's: latest rumors, little advice, and little secret. That's how I get most of my jobs.
These Dagon Fel folks tell me of other rumors and such, but nothing about the Helm.

emmm..did you try to raise their disposition towards you?

Did you use the Morrowind loader icon and make sure the plugin is one of the active files? Usually the first rumor you get is the helm, and you'll only get that once. It never comes back up wether or not you get the helm.

If you want to check to see if it's there. It's the island southwest of Vas, the little one with a Daedric ruin on it. Talk to the two bonemold wearing brothers, let them fight then talk to the winner and get a key.
(If the brothers aren't outside the ruin you either somehow didn't unlock the conversation piece, which is odd because it should be the first rumor you get. Or the plug-in might not be installed right.)
Enter el Ruin, kill, maim, slaughter your way down to the 100 lock chest and use the key to open it.
