for the balmoria fighters guild mission where you have to get the code book from scottile im having trouble. i like her 100 and all she says is "operative, this book has dirt on the comanga tong"
how can i stay in the fighters and thieves guild?

You can't if you're in both then there's no way to convince her. You'll either have to steal it or pry it off her cold dead fingers.

I taunted her until she attacked me - check straight after that all your thieves clan buddies still like you - I was OK this way

Save and re-start the game before you try this so that the scripts are loaded correctly. Until I did this, I could taunt her and let her take the first swing and they would still go nuts the minute I hit her (plus that warning that you have been kicked out/committed a heinous crime.)

The same goes for the Fighters guild when ordered to take out the two Hard-Heart Guild Steward minions in Vivec and Balmora. PLUS, make sure you come in from the downstairs door in Balmora... Maybe it is just my PC, but if I enter the 2nd floor door from the street to take the Steward out, I get those messages after I click on Goodbye, but it works fine if I push by Wayne and the scout to have her attack me. Then again, maybe it is because they witness the apparently unprovoked attack by her [img]smile.gif[/img]

I bribed her, got her Disposition high, talked to her bout the book, n she gave it to me.
