Anyone know where it is? There's a locked chest next to her, that I presume the Morrowind prophecies speak of, but if you unlock it, you're expelled from the Mages Guild. If you take it, the mages attack you. Thus I'm assuming there is another located somewhere. Surely....

I have found a few of the copies..but I cant remember where. I haven't appoached her about it yet anyways. Also I have no idea how to rob that chest without everybody attacking you, since I also tried to take the legions of the dead book in the mages chest.

The main quest. She's the second person you're sent to. The Morrowind prophecies speak of taking her book to her to get her to teach you a free summon ancestral ghost spell, after she says "no no I'm not a necromancer!!) but the chest it's in seems to be right next to her??

personaly i'd say skip that. if you go do any tomb raiding in the bitter coast area, you will find a lot of summon ansestral ghost and summon skeleton amulets

Since I play an Atronach birth sign, I need that one ASAP to re-fuel. In the Ald-Ruhn Mages guild, the Argonian Mage (in the room near the exit to the city) sells it for around 128s. If you really want the book, I have found it twice in the Malliwa tower that is south of Molag Mar. The Necromancer there has been pretty easy to take out if I get to him before he can summon help.

I was never able to do this either at the beginning of the game. No matter what I tried, I got caught. So I just forgot about it and went forward.
