How can you memorize new spells instead of just having them on a scroll?
|
go to people who sell spells and buy them.
|
So instead of buying scrolls from them with spells on them, you can buy "spells" separtely for memorization?
|
eyup.
for example the first trader in seyda neen, if you talk to him you can see "spells" on the option ( next to barter ). click on it and it will display a few spell for you to buy. |
I have seen that but made the mistake of assuming it was just more scrolls for sale.
Thank you very much for all your help. |
you're welcome.

yeah, just right click on the spell, and the option to write it will come up. voila, you have a new spell memorized.
|
It gets even more intresting though when you start to make your own spells you can put in any effects you know from any other spell only thing to be carefull about is makeing it take more mana than you have to do this in mage guilds the first one you come across is in Balmora there will be an option saying spellmaking or some such where you can create the spells and buy them.

I am hoping that someday I will be able to read the spell scrolls, and then, buy paper, an inkwell, hunt and create my own in game, without mods, then I can sell them. I am also hoping the same with alchemy, so I can make my own potions and poisons. I know, there is an editor, but I asa a mage, should be able to learn spellcraft and such.

You can only buy spells from NPCs, too bad you can't learn spells from scrolls. Although it would be a bit unbalanced. Imagine learning a scroll of Hellfire early in the game?
