One of my quirks is the total dislike of slavery, so I've been freeing slaves wherever possible in the game. I've heard of people buying slaves and then freeing them, although I don't know where to buy them from, and I have also heard rumour of the Twin Lamps, an abolitionist organization, but I can't seem to find any more information on wheteher there are any quests associated with them.
Anyone have any information on this stuff? And is there anything you can do for a slave whose answer to the freedom prompt is "There's no hope for us"? Thanks in advance... |
Ah, I've been trying the same. The slaves you can buy and set free are at Tel Ahrun.
But since I'm the head Televanni, I'm having a hard-time getting to the Twin Lamps... Eventually, I'm going to try to abolish all slavery, but so far I don't seem to be getting that option beyond the sword... |
I am assuming the ones with *no hope* are ones where there is no key to be found...
For Twin Lamps, after you have freed enough slaves...30 or 40...they will suddenly add a new topic to talk about....and that gets you started down the road...can provide more spoilers if you like... also, I am not sure if the Twin Lamps conversation pops in while you are freeing them or if AFTER you say goodbye you have to talk to them AGAIN to get the Twin Lamps option. |
Wow, 30 - 40? I still have some work to do... So far I haven't made a major point of it, just doing it as I come across slaves in amongst the other quests. Haven't spent any time looking around in Tel Ahrun, either, so it's probably time I made a trip there.
Thanks for the tips, Draconis Rex and stcardgeek! |
