Ok I'm ready to start pulling my hair out! I'm on the third thieves quest in Ald'ruhn, the one where you steel the book from the locked chest at the Arobar manor. Well the problem is I only have one Master pick left with about six uses left, and I can't find any more places to buy master lockpicks. none of the thieves guilds that I've been to have any more. I discovered that the girl in the room with me has an arabor manor key on her but every time I try to pickpocket it from her she attacks. my sneak skill is 37, but I still can't pickpocket from even the lowliest commoner. I'm starting to think that I'm SOL! Can someone give an old thief some advice for this job?

To successfully pick a lock. make your security skill higher. if there's no more lock pick on Ald Ruhn. Try Balmora.

thats just it, though is I've used all the ones in balmora, and there weren't any in the other two thieves guils iether. It's OK though, I finally used the construction set to set a secret master pick in the room. That took care of it.

you could always buy the open spell and pay an echanter to create an item that casts open 100.

I have found that smuggler's caves have ltos of master lockpicks, so if you're feeling brave, go kill some fellow thieves out in the wilderness. I have many from there. It's also a great source of scrolls to open up to 100 locks.
