I am missing the book, Chimarvamidium for a quest for Edwinna Elbert at the Mages Guild in Ald'ruhn. The book was never in Sirlonwe's chest originally and I've even searched the libraries, with no success.

Can someone tell me the exact command to enter so I can just add the book? I understand that I type: ~ to bring up the console in the game.

Yes, the book is there. Beside the guy/gal there is a locked door and inside there is a locked chest... you figure the rest.

So Paladin, are you saying that the book is definitely in there, even after I opened the chest and it doesn't look like it's there? Are you telling me it's kind of hidden in the chest?

Are you sure you opened the right chest? That guy has a locked door beside him/her (sorry, I can't remember). The locked chest inside the locked room is the one that you are looking for.

In any case, if you fail to get it, I think the console command is:

player->additem (item name) 1 -- or is it item ID? Hmm...you will have to try it out.

Yes, I am sure it's not there. I walked into Sirlonwe's closet. There is a locked chest on the floor and two smaller locked chests on the bookshelf. I've unlocked everythng and it is definitely not there.
