I made an extravigant ring with 100 points of Open on touch.
it costs 20 charges each time but it has 200 charges. I had the guy in Fort Moonmoth do the enchantment cause it kept messing up when i ddid it. but after bribing him a little it only cost me 6k to get that ring, now i can open any lock at will. no more picks no more keys :D Its like my own personal skeleton key.

yeah, this game really has me slacking too. i forgot to go to sleep monday and wensday.

hey slacker, no offense but that was pretty stupid of you there.....you could of had a mage spellmaker you the same thing for about 1200(like i did).spellmaker works really well if you got a lower end version of the spell and wanna max it out.

yeah except i didnt want to use a spell for it. i dont particulaly like using spells, and my spell casting skill isnt all that high. i dont intend to raise it either. It just isnt really my character, he's more of a useful trinket kinda guy.

now, see, i would have to do what slacker did! i don't like spells either. they just aren't me. my girl totally loves having trinkets that do stuff like that.

last time she used a spell to heal herself, she hadda cast about 13 fails before the 14th worked! ugh! no thanks. [img]smile.gif[/img]

i dont know what i did wrong...but i got an item enchanted with 'night eye'...cost me a 6000 soulgem and 10000 (hard earned cash)
and it has the power of a glow worm :(
like an idiot i didnt save/test before i continued...oh well

what kit did you choose? as a mage class you get high alteration skills from the beginning and by using them thruout they gain even more.like my favorite spells to use that cost next to nil are mark and recall. saves lots of time and money.plus its good if you need to like get back to town in a hurry and at least you know where you are warping to. and not to mention even though the spell fails you still gain points in that class of spell.at about 45 and up the spell for me usually casts every time.9 outta 10 times anyways

ha, i have a mark amulet and a recall amulet too. i picked them up in my travels. i love them
