I've got Morrowind loaded and no problems. I start the game and get through the character development I start to go out side and I get thrown out of the game. Any ideas?

sorry hon, you don't give any specs, but the most likely culprit is not having DX8.1 compatible drivers for your vid card.

so far that seems to be the thing to do. go get em.

if you have a via chipset (ugh!) update those also.

and, just checking, you do have DX 8.1 installed, right? :D

And if all else fails, run dxdiag and go through all the screens. Sometimes it can identify some compatibility problems you are having with some driver or other that may otherwise be hard to catch.

Thanks all it looks like it was my graphics card driver. Yes I have had Direct 8.1 for several months now.
