Subject says it all...was wondering about the best mods and where to find them. I've never been moved to take on a mod-project, but I'll certainly take advantage of other industrious gamers...

A side note on all you regulars:
You guys are great. I've been learning lots 'n lots from these boards. I've mostly been a voyour (no comments, 'cept maybe from V...can't resist a good flirt), checking up on interesting posts, and I've definitely learned to recognize a few people across the many rpg boards. It's kinda like having an extended family. Thanks for the help in the past. When I get new games now, I look forward to the forums almost as much as the gameplay!

So far the only good plug in I have found are the ones that give you a house, and even those are not that useful, after a bit inside the game you will find places to stay and store your stuff, and a few of them have cool quests to get them (the girlfriend house?...), be careful with the plug ins out there, so far most of them just add godlike weapons or not so balanced races and classes, unless you like to play as a god, i recommend to stick to the original game, at least until you solve it for the first time...

Thanks...I've read about the house one, and I'm not into cheats typically. Just wondering what was out there.

well as far as i know there are out a couples of 'useful' mods
e.g.:
ziana: adds a soul gem dealer to the magic guild in Balmora
merchant: adds a rich merchant near the starting city to sell all the high prized stuff [img]smile.gif[/img]

i for myself work on a quest merchant - who sells all the quest relevant items :D
