Well, i finally got it. Very good game, though some problems. The game is slow cuz my computer is becoming obsolete, and I can't see my guys portrait. Right now I'd be playing the game, but my brother is playing it.

What kind of system do you have SecretMaster?

If you mean you can't see the guy's face, all you have to do is press and keep pressed the TAB button and then rotate around until you see your face.

when you r/click anywhere on the screen, you go into your "all menu screen". inventory (with your paperdoll) menu is one of the first things you get in the game. i accidentally closed a few of those menus at the beginning, by double-clicking on the menu bar, so i couldn't see them either.

but r/clicking anywhere on the screen should re-open your inventory/paperdoll menu again. along with all the others, too.

so if that's not the problem, could you please explain it? i'm very curious now. :D

What i mean is that the portrait screen is all blurry, like all in bits. Its the same thing with the picture for your save game. And were going to get a new computer, it runs too slow on these things. Its becoming old, low memory, bad video card, and so on. We barely met the requirements to install it.

Are you running 32 bit color?

Need to for Morrowind.

yeah. that's a definite vid card issue. sorry to hear that.

one thing that amazes me, tho. normally on any games i've played in the past, if there were problems with peeps having an out of date vid card, or sound card or needing more RAM... well, i would notice tons of complaining etc about how no game was worth it.

but gee ... with MW, everyone seems to be happily running around buying new systems, getting bleeding edge vid cards and doing it with glee! :D

it's really quite a change of pace. everything about this game has turned the status quo on its head!

Only when NOT talking about it too my wife. When I talk about it to my wife, it is with heavy, heavy regret in my voice... Some deep, mornful sighing. Some nuerotic indicision is displayed, even though I made my mind up quite some time ago... Lots of rationalzation...
