Is it possible to carry out 2 romances at a time? I am getting lovers music with both Jaheira and Aerie. I want to know if I am getting both of their romances or is it a glitch or what?

No, while you're just getting started you can 'romance' more than one lady at once. Eventually they will ask you to choose one of them though. The romance you don't choose will then be over. There is a patch you can download to carry out concurrent romances, but I don't know where to get it from.

If you have two concurrent romances at a time (before you choose one)
the other girl will always make nasty comments.

It´s possible, but you need to patch the game, probably the patch is floating in the net, try to find it.
