I just wanted to give you guys a little more background into the character Ive been using in most of the RP threads here.
Growing up in far nothern region of the IW forums Dantes was a Prince of a small country along the border of the wild frontier. He was trained as a child to be a Kensai warrior. One day his near his 22nd birthday his kingdom was attacked by a large army of evil orcs, trolls, gnolls, ogres, and giants skeletons; pushing their way south from the wild frontier. This army distroyed his kingdom and their necromancer leader L'dask Irgad'te personal bound his father's soul into slavery for the duration of eternity, and took his family heirloom a magical katana Crimson Death. Dantes was a very powerful fighter in his own right at the time, but there was nothing he could to counter this type of magic. In disgrace he retreated from his homeland and it was taken over by evil forces. Dantes vowed on this day not to rest until he was able to free his father and his kingdom. One day in his travels Dantes was jumped by a band of robbers. He was hard pressed to defend himself and when one of the robbers was about to kill him Dantes cast a magic missle by sheer force of will. After this Dantes was fascinated by magic, as it came so easily and naturally for him. Dantes then travelled the world learning different rare spells and acquiring powerful artifacts, until that day he felt he was ready to take back his kingdom. Aided by the Harpers and a few neighboring kingdoms he stormed his now decaying homeland and vanquished the evil necromance from the face of IW, Killing him in a spell casting duel that blasted most of the land and destroyed his home castle. He freed his father's sould and took back Crimson Death. Rumored to be a member of the Harpers (never substantiated) Dantes disappeared from the Face of IW for a while after that fateful battle. During that time he was rumored to have travelled through time and the planes seeking more powerful magic and trying preserve the balance of the universe. He has rumored to have been seen in a quit shadowed corner of Cloudy's Cafe, but those rumor are again unsubstantiated.

Dantes does not wear armor, but does always wear a Cloak of Shadows, which cloaks him in shadows and makes him harder to hit (acts as a cloak of displacement in battle) and give him an AC bonus of + 2. He also always wears a pair of Boots of Elven Kind and Ring of Intelligence (+1)
Dantes will carry his katana Crimson Death. The blade its selfhas many powers. The sword itself is a +3 weapon. The first is to increase the weilders strength to 18/00. The second the blade can summon a Crimson Death once a day for 10 rounds to do the bidding of the weilder. The blade also glows a dull crimson red when there are undead within 150 yard radius. The blade can also cast haste 3 times a day for a 10 round duration.

Dantes always keep a number of contigencies in place that teleport him to the safety of his lair and heal him should he get injured too much. He also always has at least 3 other bodies(clones) in stasis to inhabit should his original from be destroyed, all in different locations.
Dantes' lair is currently the inside of a mountain that he carved out by magical means.
Dantes is familiar with psionics, but is not very skilled at them as of yet, but he does dabble in them from time to time.

He is motivated purely by wanting to maintain the balance between good and evil, as he sees fit.

Dantes has jet black hair and knowing green eyes. He is of a medium build and stature. His ears are very slightly pointed and his features fine giving most the impression that he has elven blood, though he does not.
Dantes has a Familiar, an owl names Socramedes that wears a necklace with a crystal on it. Dantes can speak to others telepathically through this crystal an the owl as well can communicate telepathically through this crystal even though the owl very rarely does.
