I had Jan cast Polymorph Other on the Shadow Dragon. I see the Dragon become a tiny squirrel and I think 'game over'. But wait, Minsc and Valygar get up close and wham....they're suddenly flying across the room. 'Wing Buffet' damage, how did he do that? Anyway, the only thing funnier is that squirrel punched the lights out on the whole team! Reload.....

Spoiler, if you want to know what worked for me.......

Jan cast Hold Monster (after Pierce Magic).

Why would you want to reload?!?! Wing Buffet and normal melee attacks are the only attacks that polymorphed Dragons can have.

I have fought both Firkragg and the Shadow Dragon as squirrels, the fight, although not a complete pushover, is still a pushover... ..

Hows about you cast meteor on the squirrel. Then screen shot it before it lands, when it lands (giving full view of the dammage it causes with the little tilde at the bottom of the screen up), and after. That would be really funny.

RE: 'Why would you want to reload?!?! Wing Buffet and normal melee attacks are the only attacks that polymorphed Dragons can have'

The meaning of 'punched the lights out' is typically 'knocked someone unconscious'. In this case it was actually death and I think someone else was near death.

Don't you think 'wing buffet' from a squirrel is unusual? I realize this is a game of many fantasies but 'hey bioware, squirrels don't have wings'.

:D LOL :D Rockey is one tough little guy, isn't he?

PS: Doesn't "Wing Buffet" sound more like a Happy Hour special than a dragon attack?

When I saw the thread title I had images of people eating squirrels... maybe I need help.

Wonderful deep fried grey squirrel legs, dahling. Pass me another

After you turn the dragon into a squirrell, I think you're supposed to use your '74 Nova and splatter him under the tire. Works for me.

When you polymorph someone, do you still have his stuff after he dies?

slackerboy 02-19-2002 05:35 PM

"all you can eat, Squirrel Buffet"
you know a little kentuky fried squirrel,
some squirrel soup, mabey some stew
