Help! The front door to the temple will not open. I have tried all the options I can think of to get it open but nothing seems to work. Spoiler please.... just hope it isn't a bug!

Not a bug.
Did you talk to Kol?? Well, as it happens Kol tells you that there is a back entrace to the Serpent Temple. Did Kol give you a key? Now that you will need.
