Can i kill Drizzt ever in this game?? in bodhi`s lair after i attacked him, he said "he attacks us even as we help him!? let us leave him into his fate!" and runs away! If i can`t then maybe in ToB(I can`t remember if he even is in ToB). anyway, can i ever kill him(just for the fun of it, i am no drizzt or drow hater)?

You can kill him, and you get much cool gear! But you loosing all that cool stuff later!
Drizz't is not in ToB!

Why would anyone want to kill Drizzt? He's so cool and helpful. (Plus, there's way better weapons and armor than Drizzt has...unfortunately)

I wanted to kill him just because he was soo darned uppity about me stealing his swords the last time.
He is soo darned high-and-mighty about himself.

And his party seems like a group of Anomens!

He just irked me soo much that I was tempted to kill him, but I let him go.
Almost...
Just when he was leaving, Viconia said something about him being sexy or somethin' to that effect and it just tipped me over the edge.

I couldn't get to Drizzt, but I popped the last two members of his party before they all got away. It was enough to get my by until I cornered him in Bohdi's lair... ;)

You can kill him in a straigt up fight, if in the clearing when you first encounter him, you select one of the appropriate hostile responses. Be aware though, hes a pretty good pure fighter. He does loads of damage, and will whittle down any but your toughest tanks pretty quickly one on one. But its a pretty straightforward fight,his party has lots of decent magical armor and weapons, and his scrimitar (one of two magic ones) twinkle is pretty good...its a plus five defender (adds two to your armor class...come to think of it...I dont know why its listed as a plus 5 sword...its thaco is only plus 3...), but definitely one of the best scrims in the game. I killed him just for kicks. This is the first time I did so, so I dont know anything about losing his items at the end of the game.

Well Drizzt is a ranger, he's supposed to be Uppity. Besides that, Anomen exagerates, Drizzt's party doesn't, lol!

That, and I can see where you went over the edge when Viconia said he was sexy, lol!

its a +5 sword, gives +3 to hit and damage, and a +2 to your ac. that is where the +5 come into play. in pen and paper D&D, a defender allows you to allocate your points however you choose. so Drizzt can have it give him a +5 to his ac, but wont get any points to his to hit and damage. he can make it a +5 to hit and damage, and get no bonus to his ac. in this case, he chooses to make it a +3 to hit and damage, and a +2 to ac. my bladesinger had a +4 longsword defender, and its always a +2 to hit and damage, a +2 to ac, yet still counts as a +4 weapon in terms of what it can hit. i hope this clarifies it for you chevalier mal fet.
