I am stuck again. I am with this Scabban fellow in the bottom of the Crypt. However, I cannot find a way out or what to do next? I am in a room (where you first meet Scabban) that has a large square hole in the floor that falls into a water pit with a grate in the bottom. I cannot figure out if you are supposed to open this grate somehow? I found a button on a wall down a hall, but after pushing it, I could find no changes in the game. So what am I supposed to do??? Am I done with the Crypt? Is there something else I have to do before being able to get out? Am I suppose to kill Scabban? Please help.

In the room with Scabban there should be a switch that opens the grate. As you enter the room I believe its on the left wall.
