Alright, I figured out how to open the entrance door with the statue. I walked down the spiral stairs, and then another door auto opened...but then their is a hall way to another door. I cant open it!
I have searched the room left and right. I have a bad feeling that it is some sort of a bug, and it should auto open. Please tell me I am wrong, and how to open the door!

As you walk into the room, there is alever on the left hand wall about halfway through the room.

This will open the next door.

I feel like an idiot...it is dark in that section, but that was still a bone head move. Thx.

You might want to see about doing all of your traveling with a Whiskah as your primary vision. They are not that strong but can be protected until they become worthy of battle, but they are great for seeing in all of the dark rooms you'll run into. Not to count when you get stuck in unfamiliar territory at night.
