I'm still pumping up the axe skill of my paladin, but I've heard or read rumours that there aren't any(?) good magical axes (without enchanting them myself) in the game. Can anyone confirm this?

I found a couple nice 2-handed axes. The best 1-handed axe I found was just a +2, never did find a decent axe for a 2nd weapon. Doesn't mean they can't be found, but I am now on my 2nd time through the game.

There are a lot more nice swords and a couple nice maces to be found.
