Ive got it from the Gypsy Cave but I havent got a quest for it - where do I get one of what do I use it for ?

The Mages Guild in the first town gives you the orb of clarity quest

oh !! Ive never done the second quest - finding Telvik Teborn (sp?) 0 cant find him - any idea where he may be found ?

The priest you have to kill should be near the river in the serpent tempel area.
