I have met the spirit gardian and I've got the holy signet thingy. Now, how do I get out of the crypt? Seems that the way I used to come here is blocked.

If you got this far, you must have the golden key. Look in the water behind the grates near where the rat eating Stout is, near where you found the key. There are swtiches to open those grates up, then you will be right near the start of the crypt.

Its easy to get out from there.
