I haven't played BG2 in a long long while, but I decided to install it again now that I have a new PC and don't have to suffer the lag even at low graphic settings that I used to.

Now I have the opposite problem, all the graphics are going at double (at least) speed! My character moves quicker then any Boots of Speed should allow, as does everyone and everything else.

Anyone know of a fix for this? I checked the webpage, and did a search on this forum, but I came up with nothing. I'll put off playing until I find out how to fix this, since fighting in "fast forward" mode aint my thing ;)

My specs:

1.2 ghz CPU (athlon)
512 mb SDRAM
GeForce2
WinXP

Ps. I am running BG in 1024x mode, but this problem occured in 800x600 as well.

Change the frame rate in the game configuration 30 frames per second is about average.

Argh!!

Being the Counter-Strike freak that I am, I of course raised the FPS to 60. Didn't realise that it was connected to the actual game speed :eek
