ok, i have this program, and have NO clue how to make it work. i dont know how to make the weapon have different affects, and i cant get them into the game at all either. the only thing that i got to work was a weapons text, that was all. i need to know how to make weapons that give the bonuses, and abilities that i want, and how to save them correctly to get them into my game. thanx in advance.
PS- is there a tutorial or something, because the icon for help, wasnt! |
Did you get the Program from TeamBG?. There are plenty of tutorials for IEEP there go to the site and look at their tutorials section.

What are the kinds of effects and/or special abilities for which you seek? What sort of weapon do you envision? A little more information such as this and perhaps some people here could give a few tips/pointers.

i mean in general. i want to do more than one item. hell, i want to be able to just start up IEEP, and make an item if it come into my head. for instance, i want to make a Moonblade (Xan's from BG1). it is a +3 to hit and damage, +5 to determine what can be hit by it, gives a +2 to ac, and gives 50% resistance to fire. it can only be wielded by an elven fighter/mage. i have a similar item for my elven fighter/mage in PnP, and want to make something like this for his use.
oh, and it is a longsword. |

Some time spent experimenting with items that already exist--to see how they are created--as well as making your own items will be invaluable. A weekend a research and development will put you well on the way to becoming a weapon-creation master. |
