Click on the dragon head below the magic and attack buttons and it gives you the option to drink blood. It's a special attack but it's a pain to have to keep drinking blood.

I got lucky, and was warned ahead of time about the Vampire. My pickpocket skill was too low to get the piece from her. So I killed the nasty old thing. And rofl, I loved what she had to say, damn funny.
