i talked to the new npc lady and they areas are on my map but i cant access them even when i try to enter from close by zones any one know what im doin wrong ?

I believe you are supposed to have some of the new characters in your party to access the new quests and possibly the new areas. Alot of the stuff from the DSotSC is found scattered through the game. Items spells and the like. I had it loaded on my machine but decided to try and finish BG/TotSC first without it.

Yes definatley try to finish the game without it installed. It can seriously unbalance the game !
