I'm talking to Oakenmir. I assume he has the seed. I think I've tried all the words I can (including seed) but he's not giving up a seed. Anybody remember what to do? Thanks.

Nope, not Oakenmir. The seeds come from the tree people in the isle of sands near to Cet's Pyramid. They drop them when killed.
