can anybody tell me why quest charaters wont talk to me???

i am currently running the quest with Anomen and his sister.........i choosed to go by the law and go talk to some woman at the council of six building.......but when i try to talk with her i get the "blablabla cant initate conversasion........she seems busy"

the same thing happend to me with the genie at iranicus dungon after i agreed to get its lamp bac

This sounds like a config problem or maybe a bug. Doublecheck all of your sound settings and config settings. Do you have dialogue between charchters??

yes i have dialog and all my settings are right..........but i have found out that it helps to leave the area and then reenter it a couple of times

Ok-here goes.

First, sometimes you can't initiate dialogue-I tried to speed up the jaheira romance by initiating dialogue but I got the 'Jaheira has nothing to say to you' message. But if you're certain that there should be dialogue, IOW you see the script of what they are saying, try this. Make sure that the in-game config for charachter audio is not set to never or seldom-but i think that's only for combat. Go into the soa file from the file manager, click the config, click audio, then disable all of the extraneous unnecessary stuff-ambients, environmentals, footsteps etc. If u still have a problem, try starting a new game with the same type of charachter but change your voice option and warp into a place where you can start a conversation. Didn't work? Next, try a different charachter. NO?Then uninstall/reinstall- Not yet, huh? Then... go to 'the sorcerers place' and put audio in the search engine to find someone smarter than me. (Not hard to do)
