I keep reading on this forum, repeatedly, about Aerie and Anomen getting vamped by Bodhi. You never hear about Jahiera or Viconia having done so. We're going through the game for the eighth time with Viconia, and it just happened again. Bodhi shows up the first time that you go to the graveyard after we got out of the cursed Underdark, and she just taunted us and set her silly li'l vamps on us, and disappeared. We were talking about it, and it is my opinion that since Jahiera and Viconia have "slow starting" romances, that this can't happen to them, as a practical thing. Has anybody ever gotten Jah or Vicky vamped?

MY VICONIA GOT VAMPED.

I had Jaheira turned into a vamp two times out of two!
You have to finish the romance or at least to have romance active 2.
The same thing applies to Viccy

Seriously though, I think Galadria is right about it being related to the pace of the romances. If it isn't in the very final state, your partner won't get vamped. I've never succeeded in getting Vicky vamped. That's OK though, her Drowy self is dangerous enough.

Since I "fixed" my Jaheira romance (my worst problem was that I was invisible thanks to my staff, which meant she couldn't see me :rolleyes: ), she was abducted and converted by Bodhi. Thanks, guys. I think that it has to do with the fact that I always go get Vicky, and then get Imoen very early, so that the Underdark is behind us when the romance is still in its early stages. The provoking thing is, I'm trying to stay away from ol' Bodhi, but Nalia is wanting to say farewell to her Daddy. I think I'll just let her go, and do a five person group until the Viconia romance is satisfactory. Ha, ha, then she'll be behind Imoen for a change.
