I edited my characters at the start of the game, when were all just released from the cages, and I go and talk to the sewage gollem so he can go and open the door but it says that I cant initiate dialogue because he's busy however when I do it without editing my characters he talks to me. This didn't happen until I downloaded the new Shadowkeeper.

no that hasnt happend to me but you can just pickpocket him!

do you have 2k? because if you do and install ToB you have to get the patch. it's a 2k bug

Sounds like an editing problem, but then, Shadowkeeper was never part of the original game deal. ;)

I never use editors personaly, but that probably is the problem. Try to beat the game without using an editor.

I agree with Antagonist - you'll be surprised how much more fun the game will be if you don't cheat at all. I always used Shadowkeeper but got so bored after a while because it took away the sense of achievement I'd get ordinarily. Just a suggestion [img]smile.gif[/img]

Not all people use shadowkeeper, Infinity engine to cheat.
I use them to change weapons, and fix bugs.
I often decrease a weapons power to make the game a bit more challenging. Nothing extreme, Casomyr +4 or Lilacor +2 for example.

As for the question, GAZZA. I believe HARRY is correct and this is one of the bugs fixed by the TOB patch.
