increase your attack speed? i cant tell because duel wielding makes it seem fast enough, so..?

no they dont. it specifically says somehwere. at least it does in BG1.

YEAH I THINK YOU HAVE TO BE IMPROVED HASTED IN ORDER TO INCREASE YOUR ATTACK SPEED.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Just for you I dived into scripts and... It does increase your attack speed and you get one extra attack per round. Actually, you get exactly the same benefits as the haste spell - but without the fatigue. Definately worth putting on your fighter... |

I've found boots of speed only give you one 1/2 attack per round extra.. I tested this..
