HOw many of u have played a single character all the way through BG, BG:ToSC, BG2, and BG:ToB.

I'm thinking about starting a new char in BG and playing him through all 4 games just for fun, though i might not have enough patience to do so.

Haha, good luck, just so u know, there's a very awesome pantaloon quest that involves BG1, BG2:SOA, and BG2:ToB, u need pantaloons from each of the games and turn them in to some smith in ToB. U get some sort of -10 AC armor, something like that?? Go check websites and strategy guides, it'll explain the quest in full detail.

BTW has anyone done this quest, figured it out and everything, on their own without being told about it or getting any hints?? Tell the truth now.. If so I will be quite impressed.

I started over again with BG1 severela wweks ago and play now BG2 since 1 week with my Paladin (undead hunter). ToB is waiting, too.
Next time I will try a bard (skalde) or some other rogue.

I would, but then I'd only be able to play as a Sorc when I get to BG2..
Still, a Sorc with only 3 Magic Missles is hardly fun..

I was wondering...if you choose a paladin in BG1..how do you specialize him into a class in BG2?

I saw the movie, but I didn't think the action scenes were THAT good.

If you're talking about kits then you will get the option of changing your paladin's class to a kit when you import to BG2. I used this to modify a paladin I had taken through BG1 and TOTSC so that he became a Cavalier. It's a useful feature, as the abilities of the paladin kits are very handy. This paladin then went on to finish BG2 and ToB, but unfortunately I didn't know about the pantaloon quest at the time.

Maybe next time...
